I know the debates that rage on for and against the body lifts but I wanted a small one to help give that extra little bit of clearance. My jeep is still my DD and it runs down the freeway so I didnt want to go to big. I needed bigger than the inch but not quite 2 inch. So my problem was solved by making my own.......

So with the help of my buddy Scott(AVJeepfreek) I started with 3 inch rounds of 6061 Aluminum for the large pucks and 2 3/4 round for the smaller pucks. I then cut them in 1 3/4 blocks and drilled the center (alot harder than you would think for aluminum)

Next I got grade 5 bolts that were 1 3/4 longer and replaced the stock ones.

The finished project

It was a fairly easy project and the results have worked great. the total cost was less than 60 bucks.

My firearms have killed less people than Ted Kennedy's car has, Ban him.

I would assume the local medal supply yard should have this. If they don't they could probably order it. They may even be able to order it with the hole in the middle. People can talk shit about body lifts but they have a legitimate application. In my case I will have to do a 1 inch body lift and a 1 inch motor mount lift in order to make a flat belly pan skid for my YJ. FYI there is a guy on NAXJA named JeeperJohn that is making motor mounts for XJs for pretty cheap. I talked to him and he said it would not be a big deal to make one that had a 1inch lift.
